DiversiTech Corp., a portfolio company of Partners Group, has acquired Polymer Adhesives Holdings LLC, a manufacturer of high-performance duct sealants, adhesives, and fire-stopping materials headquartered in Mineral Wells, Texas. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Before the sale, Polymer Adhesives Holdings was owned DalFort Capital Partners, which acquired the company in May 2023. During DalFort's ownership, Polymer Adhesives expanded significantly through two strategic acquisitions. The company added Volunteer Adhesives, a Tennessee-based producer of solvent- and water-based adhesives, and Fielco Adhesives, a manufacturer and formulator of two-part epoxy systems. The acquisitions broadened Polymer Adhesives' product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities, strengthening its position in specialty adhesives and sealants.

DiversiTech reports that the acquisition aligns with its growth strategy of expanding through acquisitions and adding complementary products to its portfolio. Headquartered near Atlanta, Georgia, DiversiTech is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components, accessories, and related products serving the HVAC, electrical, and industrial markets.

The addition of Polymer Adhesives expands DiversiTech's presence in adhesives, sealants, and fire-stopping materials, particularly within HVAC-related applications. Polymer Adhesives' expertise in duct sealants and specialty adhesive formulations complements DiversiTech's established HVAC product portfolio and strengthens its ability to serve contractors, distributors, and industrial customers.
