Adhesive dispensing technology provider medmix Switzerland AG announced to customers and partners that a positive and final development has been settled related to the COX trademark and counterfeit dispensers produced by Shenzhen Dieter Mike Industrial Co. Ltd.
Following an earlier final and binding trademark infringement decision by Futian District People’s Court of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China, Shenzhen Dieter Mike has now confirmed that it will not file any appeal against the court ruling. As a result, all legal proceedings related to this case have been concluded fully in favor of medmix.
The court has ordered Shenzhen Dieter Mike to immediately cease and desist from the manufacture and sale of counterfeit COX dispensers. In addition, Dieter Mike has been instructed to compensate medmix for damages and to cover the related court fees. The respective payments are currently being arranged through legal counsel.
According to medmix, the outcome confirms that Shenzhen Dieter Mike’s activities infringed the registered COX trademarks owned by medmix Switzerland AG and falsely attempted to create market confusion with copied products.
medmix reports that for the company and its customers, this decision represents an important step in safeguarding brand integrity, product authenticity, and fair competition in the dispensing systems market. medmix remains fully committed to protecting its intellectual property and supporting customers with genuine, high-quality COX dispensing solutions.
