3M Partners with Cadillac Formula 1 Team
The Cadillac Formula 1 Team and 3M have announced a multi-year global partnership that makes 3M the team's Official Material Science Partner. The collaboration will focus on lightweight materials, bonding, surface preparation, manufacturing optimization, laboratory testing, and trackside support to help improve vehicle performance and development.
Engineers from both companies will work together on material selection, process optimization, and technical support, with the goal of applying technologies developed in Formula 1 to broader automotive applications. In addition to providing technical expertise, the partnership gives 3M branding opportunities through the Cadillac Formula 1 Team.
