Adherex Group Names New Chief Executive Officer
Adherex Group, a private equity-backed packaging solutions provider, announced the appointment of Michael Doerrer as chief executive officer. According to Adherex, Doerrer brings extensive senior executive experience in packaging and distribution, spanning business development, operations, and supply chain management.
Doerrer joins Adherex from SupplyOne, Inc., where he served as regional president for the North Central Region. In that role, he drove revenue growth, strengthened customer partnerships, and delivered operational performance across a complex distribution operation.
"Michael brings exactly the combination of industry knowledge and operational discipline that positions Adherex for accelerated growth," said Dave Burger, board chair, Adherex Group. "His customer-centric approach and deep experience in packaging distribution make him the right leader to build on the strong foundation we have established and execute our long-term strategy."
Doerrer is based at Adherex Group's headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, and will report directly to the board of Directors.
