Trinseo Grows Acrylic Latex Portfolio for CASE Applications

Specialty material solutions provider Trinseo has expanded its acrylic latex binders platform for coatings, adhesives, sealants, and construction (CASE) applications with new product development, investments in research and manufacturing capabilities, and enhanced technical support.
The expansion includes the introduction of LIGOS™ A 9202, an all-acrylic waterborne adhesive designed for flexible film dry lamination. Engineered for high-speed lamination applications, the adhesive is compatible with conventional gravure, roll-to-roll, and slot-die coating processes. According to the company, LIGOS A 9202 provides fast adhesion buildup, stable coating performance, and improved manufacturing efficiency.
"Today's formulators aren't simply looking for another binder—they're looking for a partner that can help solve increasingly complex formulation challenges," said Giona Kilcher, CASE global business director, latex binders.
Trinseo said it is continuing to expand its acrylic latex portfolio through investments in laboratories, R&D capabilities, and production facilities to support the commercialization of new and enhanced solutions for CASE applications.
The company's acrylic latex binders are designed for applications including pressure-sensitive adhesives, flooring, architectural coatings, and cementitious systems. Trinseo's technical teams work with customers to optimize formulations for performance, manufacturing efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
