Henkel Expands Silicon Valley Application Center for Electronics

Henkel has opened its new Application Center in Santa Clara, California.
Henkel has doubled the size of its Silicon Valley Application Center, relocating to a new 15,000-square-foot facility in Santa Clara, California, to meet growing demand for electronics application co-development.
According to Kevin Becker, senior vice president of product development and engineering for electronics, the expansion reflects Henkel's strategy of supporting customers through regional application centers that accelerate product development and commercialization. The company has also established or expanded technical application centers in India, China, Singapore, and Vietnam.
The new facility houses production, testing, and analytical equipment used to support proof-of-concept work for consumer electronics applications. Henkel also expanded its technical team to support product commercialization. The center focuses on evaluating materials such as underfills, structural adhesives, encapsulants, and thermal management solutions that are critical to electronics performance and reliability.
Since opening its Silicon Valley Application Center in 2022, Henkel has collaborated with customers on applications including AI data center systems, high-performance computing, and XR/VR headsets and smart glasses.
