Sika Acquires UK Landscaping Products Manufacturer
Sika recently announced the expansion of its UK landscaping portfolio with the acquisition of Azpects Group. According to Sika, the acquisition will create new opportunities for growth, cross-selling, and manufacturing efficiencies and strengthen its position in the growing landscaping sector.
Azpects manufactures polymeric paving joint compounds and other products used in the construction and maintenance of patios, pathways, and driveways. Its established trade distribution channels serve landscaping contractors throughout the UK.
The acquisition is expected to create cross-selling opportunities and manufacturing and logistics efficiencies. Sika also sees long-term growth potential as the landscaping market shifts from traditional sand and cement products toward polymeric jointing compounds.
