A new hot melt, pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) has been formulated to provide better conversion and economy. Trial runs with new DURO-TAK® 34-416A adhesive show high loop tack, excellent resistance to peel and shear, and no edge-ooze or bleed-through after one week at 120ºF (49ºC). This lower-cost adhesive is stable, showing very minimal viscosity change after 24 hours at 325ºF (163ºC), according to laboratory testing.
