PSAs With Low Silicone Volatiles

Selecting the right silicone pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) may help reduce the problem of silicone oven dust, a maintenance and reliability headache for tape manufacturers. Both Dow Corning 7355 adhesive and Dow Corning 7358 adhesive are peroxide-cure systems with low silicone volatility and good high-temperature performance. The 7355 adhesive features high adhesion and is well-suited for applications such as masking, plating and splicing tapes. The 7358 adhesive exhibits high tack and is typically used in applications such as electrical, plasma/flame-spray and high-temperature masking tapes.
