DOW NAMES CROOK NORTH AMERICAN SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER FOR CARPET

Dow Emulsion Polymers has named Todd Crook to the role of senior marketing manager for its North American Carpet business. "The North American carpet latex market is very important to Dow. We continue to strive to meet and exceed our customers' needs so that their businesses can be successful. In doing this, we earn our leadership role in the market," said Cindy Elliott, commercial director of the Americas, Dow Emulsion Polymers. "Todd brings a wealth of experience to his new position that will enable us to deliver products and services, maintain our strong customer relationships, and increase our market presence." In his new role, Crook will be responsible for market planning and the implementation of the carpet latex business strategy for North America. In addition, he will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and value creation on market opportunities in alignment with the overall business strategy. Crook was previously with the UCAR Emulsion Systems global business unit of The Dow Chemical Company. His most recent positions include senior account manager and commercial Six Sigma black belt. Crook has a dual B.S. degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University, and an MBA from Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
