Rohm and Haas Co. has announced the appointment of Jonathan J. Hastings to the position of European General Manager for Adhesives and Sealants. Based in Paris, Hastings will be responsible for the sales, marketing, technical service, manufacturing and supply chain functions for the Rohm and Haas Adhesives and Sealants business in Europe. He joined the company in 2003 as strategic director and new business development manager, Adhesives and Sealants. Prior to joining Rohm and Haas, Hastings spent six years with Marakon Associates, a leading international management consulting firm. He also enjoyed a distinguished 12-year tenure with DuPont, where he held positions of increasing complexity and responsibility in the manufacturing, technical, business development, and marketing areas.
