Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS) Fair Preview

COMMERCE, CA - The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers®

(AWFS®) has announced that AWFS Vegas is now the largest show in the history of the fair. The 2005 Fair will take place July 27-30 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.

"Based on the response that we received when we made the move announcement, we had little doubt that this was going to be the largest show in our history," said Angelo Gangone, director of the trade show. "It's really nice that we were able to officially make that claim as early as December 31."

As of the end of 2004, AWFS had over 370,050 sq. ft. in exhibit space sold, which is almost 23,000 sq. ft. more than the total sold for 2003. Previously, 2001 was the largest show in AWFS history, with 365,960 net sq. ft. of sold exhibit space. In 2003, 347,150 sq. ft. were sold.

Exhibitors include a mix of new and returning companies. In 2005, there will be 135 new exhibiting companies, representing about 21% of exhibitors to date. Visit http://www.adhesivesmag.com for a list of exhibitors.

Founded in 1911, AWFS is the largest national trade association in the United States, representing companies that supply the home and commercial furnishings industry.
