Malvern Instruments has appointed Stephen Carrington to the position of product manager for the company's rheology systems. Malvern added rheological properties measurement to its product portfolio twelve months ago with the acquisition of Bohlin Instruments, and is committed to delivering excellent technical and applications support worldwide. Carrington has a degree in Chemistry and Polymer Science, and his PhD thesis focused on the extensional flow of polymer solutions. He joins Malvern from MicroRheology Ltd., a company that he co-founded as an offshoot of the Physics Department at the University of Bristol.
