CVC Thermoset Specialties, an Emerald Performance Materials company, has announced the appointment of Jeffrey J. Tyrrell as product manager for its Reactive Liquid Polymers (RLPs). He will be responsible for providing strategic, operational and technical direction to drive the growth of the RLP product line globally.

“Our RLP platform has experienced excellent growth,” said John Cech, president of CVC Thermoset Specialties. “With our recently added new product lines, HYPRO 2800 and 1200 Series HTs (hydroxy terminated polybutadienes) and HYPRO 1300 and 2000 ETs (glycidyl ester terminated polybutadiene and polybutadiene/acrylonitrile polymers), we see creative ways in new materials to bring value to our customers. The new products, together with the recently added capacity, will enable our company to capitalize on opportunities available in the market domestically and internationally. Jeff will be instrumental in helping us achieve our objectives, working both internally within our organization and externally with our customers, agents and distributors.”
