RadTech – The Association for UV and EB Technology, Chevy Chase, MD, has announced its new president and board members. Petra L’Abbe of PPG Industries will assume the presidency for a two-year term. New board members include Don Smith of Alcoa, Mike Kelly of Allied Photochemical, Kevin Joesel of Fusion, Lou Palermo of Lamberti and John Whalen of Valspar. Second-term board members include Tom Campbell of Campbell and Co., Mike Dvorchak of Bayer and Paul Mills of UV Powerhouse.
IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries®, Bannockburn, IL, has announced that Maria Labriola has joined the company as an account executive. In this new position, Labriola is primarily responsible for trade show sales for the new IPC Midwest Conference and Exhibition. She most recently served as a trade analyst for the Italian Trade Commission in Chicago.
Reynolds Industries, Inc., Fort Mill, SC, recently named John Menzel to the position of Aftermarket Sales Coordinator. Menzel brings to his new position a B.A. from Ashland University, 10 years in the hospitality business and an extensive customer service background.
RPM International Inc., Medina, OH, has announced that its board of directors has appointed Frederick R. Nance to Class III of the company’s board of directors. The company also announced that Max D. Amstutz has retired from the board after 12 years of service. Nance’s term will expire in 2008, at which time he will stand for re-election to the board by the company’s stockholders.
Lamberti Synthesis USA, a newly formed operating division of Lamberti USA, Conshohocken, PA, has hired Robert J. O’Toole as business manager. In his new role, O’Toole will utilize 23 years of chemical management experience to develop and optimize the Lamberti Synthesis market position for alkoxylation (EO/PO) products and technology. O’Toole’s most recent positions were as business manager (polymers/surfactants) and global director (energy cure) for the Cognis Corp.
