No. 916 is a gas-heated, 500°F high-capacity walk-in oven from Grieve currently used for curing epoxy/phenolic fiber-reinforced parts inside steel molds. Workspace dimensions measure 120” W x 144” D x 84” H. 800,000 BTU/hr are installed in a modulating natural gas burner, while a 24,500 CFM, 20 HP recirculating blower provides combination airflow to the workload.

This walk-in oven features an aluminized steel exterior and interior, plus 4”-thick insulated walls and a removable top-mounted heat chamber. The doorsill is eliminated, as two front doors are equipped with drag seals. The oven body was designed to split into two sections for easier shipment.

No. 916 has all of the safety features required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment, including a 325 CFM, 1/3 HP-powered forced exhauster. This oven also features a digital programming temperature controller and 10” diameter circular chart recorder.
