GRIEVE CORP.: Walk-In Oven
No. 950 is a 350°F gas-heated walk-in oven currently used for
bonding composite materials inside molds. Workspace dimensions of this oven
measure 10’W x 20’D x 8’H. 700,000
BTU/HR installed in a modulating natural gas burner provides heat while a
24,500 CFM, 20-HP recirculating blower provides a combination airflow to the
workload.
The Grieve walk-in oven features 4” insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior, heavy-duty double doors, and a 1/4” steel plate floor.
All safety devices required by IRI, FM and NFPA Standard 86 for gas-heated equipment can be found on No. 950, including a 6500 CFM powered forced exhauster. Also included is a recording and programming temperature controller, plus motorized dampers on the air intake and exhaust for accelerated cooling.
