CHARLES ROSS AND SON CO. OPENS NEW FACTORY IN INDIA
Bogard Lagman, executive vice president of Charles Ross & Son Co., Hauppauge, NY, has announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Pune, India. The plant is a 100%-owned facility and is 150 kilometers from Mumbai, making it convenient to transportation connections.
Ross will initially manufacture dry solids blenders and high-shear mixers, however the company expects to expand the facility and add new product lines within the next 12 months. The products manufactured in India will be available to any worldwide market, however they will initially be marketed mainly to India and other countries in Southern Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
Ross Regional Manager Lokendra Singh will oversee the operation of this new facility. Mr. Singh joined Ross in 2007 and is a Shivaji University graduate with a degree in B. E. Production.
