The Supervisory Board of Evonik Industries AG, Essen, Germany, recently decided that the management of the Executive Board should be revised and the number of members reduced from seven to three. The Executive Board is now composed of Chief Executive Officer Klaus Engel, Chief Financial Officer Heinz-Joachim Wagner and Ulrich Weber, who assumes responsibility of human resources. The Supervisory Board also appointed Dr. Wolfgang Colberg, currently a member of the Board of Management of BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH, Munich, Germany, as chief financial officer effective April 1, 2009, when current CFO Wagner is scheduled to leave the group.
