MACtac Printing Products Announces New Marketing Director

February 11, 2010
MACtac® has announced the appointment of Michael Marasch as senior marketing director for the MACtac Printing Products division.

MACtac®, a global supplier of pressure-sensitive adhesive products, has announced the appointment of Michael Marasch as senior marketing director for the MACtac Printing Products division. In this role, Marasch will oversee the development, implementation and management of marketing strategies and plans, specifically in the roll label business. He will also be responsible for developing product line plans and pricing strategies, identifying new business opportunities (including alliances and acquisitions), and creating, communicating, and implementing marketing plans for the major initiatives in the business.

Marasch brings 30 years of marketing experience to his new position, having spent most of his career at large, global specialty materials companies including BFGoodrich and Bayer. Marasch's background includes marketing, sales and business development management positions in the rubber, plastics, thermoplastic elastomer, and chemical additive markets. His expertise in identifying and enhancing the value propositions of businesses and products is expected to shape the future of MACtac's Printing Products division.

"We are confident in Mike's ability to grow our roll label business through untapped application opportunities and steer our MACtac Printing Products team to further success this year," said Ed LaForge, vice president of marketing at MACtac. "His extensive experience in marketing specialty materials will be invaluable for this position."

Marasch holds a B.S. in chemistry/business from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He is a member of the American Chemical Society - Rubber Division and the Society of Plastics Engineers.
