Michelman has announced several key hires and promotions within its Asian Chemical Specialties commercial team. Shenglan Cheng has been hired as a research chemist and will be based in the company’s Singapore R&D laboratory. Her primary responsibilities will be to develop new products for Michelman’s surface modifiers line for the Asian market, as well as to support specific customer application requirements.

Linus Yoong has been promoted to Regional Sales manager. He will be based in the company’s Singapore office and will be responsible for managing growth and sustainability initiatives in the region, as well as directing territory managers and sales assistants.

Janice Ng has been hired as a new territory manager in the region. She will work closely with Yoong to help customers achieve their sales and growth objectives. Ng has over 10 years of experience in chemical sales and customer management, with a focus on construction chemicals, plastics, polymers, and coatings.
