Berkmeyer Named International Paint Technical Manager
International Paint LLC, an AkzoNobel company, has promoted Brad Berkmeyer to Protective Coatings technical manager, North America. Berkmeyer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all of the technical services, support, and research and technology (R&T) activities related to the company’s International Paint, Devoe, Environline and Ceilcote brands serving the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
“We are delighted to move Brad into this expanded senior management role,” said Chris Tiernay, vice president of Protective Coatings, North America. “His proven expertise in technical development and management will be a tremendous asset and support to our ongoing R&T efforts throughout North America.”
Berkmeyer has more than 15 years of R&T experience in the coatings industry. He began his career with AkzoNobel in 2004 as Research and Development manager for the company’s newly acquired Decorative Coatings business. In 2007, Berkmeyer was promoted to Protective Coatings Technical Manager over U.S. operations, where he served until his recent promotion.
