DOW COATING MATERIALS: Emulsion Polymers
The new ProSperse™ 700 series aqueous emulsion polymers can be used for factory- and field-applied coatings on metal, plastic, wood, and cementitious substrates. The products reportedly address market demand for durability and faster dry times in low-VOC coatings.
The series includes ProSperse 755 aqueous emulsion polymer for waterborne metal coatings, and ProSperse 704 and ProSperse 707 for waterborne wood coatings. All three use DESIGNED DIFFUSION™ technology, which reportedly helps raise performance and lower VOC levels by accelerating the diffusion of coalescent. The polymers are low-VOC capable and can offer excellent early hardness properties that can contribute to improved dirt pickup resistance and block and print resistance.
