Avery Dennison Third Quarter Sales Rise 4%
Avery Dennison Corp. recently announced preliminary, unaudited results for its third quarter ended September 28. Third quarter net sales were $1,504 million, an increase of about 4% compared to $1,447 million in the same period last year.
The Pressure-Sensitive Materials segment reported a sales increase of 4%. Within the segment, Label and Packaging Materials sales reportedly increased in the low single digits. Combined sales for Graphics, Reflective, and Performance Tapes increased in the mid-single digits.
“I’m happy to once again report strong double-digit adjusted earnings growth for the quarter,” said Dean Scarborough, chairman, president and CEO. “Both of our core businesses are delivering solid sales growth, as well as outstanding operating margin expansion.”
