Evans Adhesive Corp. recently announced the hiring of David Speth, Ph.D., as a research chemist. Speth will be located in the company’s Columbus, Ohio, headquarters, and will lead new product and technology development for hot-melt adhesives.

Speth holds a doctorate in organic chemistry from Stanford University and completed post-doctorate work at Texas Christian University. His projects have reportedly resulted in over 20 patents, as well as numerous publications.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Dave on our R&D team,” said Rusty Thompson, president and CEO. “Dave will add substantial bench strength to our technical group and give us new capabilities in product development as well as customer request fulfillment.”
