Great Place to Work® and Fortune have announced 3M as one of the 25 World’s Best Multinational Workplaces. This recognition reportedly considers employees’ assessments of their jobs, managers, coworkers, opportunities for training, and support for work/life balance, among other factors. Since 2011, Great Place to Work has identified top organizations that create great workplaces in multiple countries. From thousands of companies considered as great workplaces, 3M stood out with 15 national Best Workplace titles around the globe.

To be considered eligible for the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list, companies reportedly must appear on a minimum of five national best workplaces lists that rank organizations based on the results of their Trust Index^© employee survey and Culture Audit^© assessment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5,000 employees worldwide, and 40% of their workforce must be based outside of the country in which they are headquartered.

“These organizations are well known because their brands appear around the globe,” said Kim Peters, executive vice president of Great Place to Work. “But behind these successful brands are high-trust workplaces where the vast majority of employees feel valued, well treated and that their work makes a difference.”
