Maroon Group LLC recently announced the retirement of Dan T. Canavan, Sr., from D.B. Becker. Howard Hubert, president of Maroon Group’s CASE and plastics verticals, has been appointed to lead the business. This is reportedly the culmination of a long-term transition plan that the company had in place, and Canavan and Hubert have worked closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

Canavan has been the president of D.B. Becker, a company that he purchased in 1990, and reportedly together with his family and team grew to be one of the most respected chemical distributors in the CASE and related markets. D.B. Becker became part of Maroon Group in 2015.
