ChemQuest recently announced that David A. Cocuzzi, having served as chair, board of directors of the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC), from 2000-2006, has been appointed as an ex-officio member of the CRRC board, and has also been elected vice chair of the CRRC technical committee. To both of these positions Cocuzzi brings more than 45 years of coatings experience; more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of reflective roofing technology, codes and standards; and several decades of global senior-level executive management experience to his new role.

Since 2015, Cocuzzi has held concurrently the following positions: technical director of the National Coil Coating Association (NCCA), vice president of the ChemQuest Group headquartered in Cincinnati, and consultant to the ChemQuest Technology Institute.
