The ChemQuest Group Inc. recently announced the addition of George W. Ritter, Ph.D., as director.

Ritter has 40 years of experience in materials-based development chemistries and applications; he has developed materials related to adhesives, glasses, ceramics, plastics, and composites for use in aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics, and marine markets.

For the past 35 years, much of Ritter’s work has reportedly been in adhesives applications development. He also led technical programs with the U.S. Department of Defense involving all four services and the U.S. Coast Guard. In 2004, he was co-recipient of a U.S. Navy ManTech achievement award for work on bonded marine structures in support of the Zumwalt-class destroyer.
