The Adhesive and Sealant Council’s (ASC) Annual Spring Convention and Expo, which will be held this month in Philadelphia, continues to be the largest gathering of professionals in the adhesive and sealant supply chain. With proximity to many ASC member companies, Philadelphia is an ideal meeting destination to network with peers and learn from experts on a variety of hot topics, writes Bill Almond, president of the ASC. Adhesive bonds will be tested this October at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2019 in Adelaide, Australia. A team of students from RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen plan to enter their self-constructed, solar-powered electric car in what could be the world’s toughest solar car race.
