Safic-Alcan, an international specialty chemicals distributor, recently announced the extension of its agreement with Dow for the distribution of Dow’s flocking adhesives range. Drawing on the success of the existing agreement for Dow’s other product ranges, the extension will cover the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (EMEA).

The agreement includes trademarks such as POLYFLOCK^®, MOR-FLOCK^®, POLYPRIME^®, and CATALYSEUR CA^®. These one- or two-component flocking adhesives (including primer and catalyst), solvent or waterborne, reportedly bond well to various elastomers for weatherstrip production.
