Al Muqarram Group recently announced that it has introduced a new Dolphin B2 fire-retardant polyurethane foam that offers fire safety and insulation into the UAE market. According to the company, the foam is endorsed by certifying agencies for its efficacy in insulating buildings against fire hazards, as well as for soundproofing. The product reportedly features excellent bonding strength that can be used on a wide range of surfaces.

“We introduced this product after extensive rounds of trials to ensure its quality and functional efficacy in diverse situations,” said Safdar Badami, managing director of Al Muqarram Group.

The company reports that the foam is moisture resistant, has a 300% self-expanding property, is self-extinguishable, and can be used in all types of weather. The product can be used in a wide range of insulation, including filling and enclosing spares between roof tiles, concrete slabs, wall cavities, drilled holes, frame construction, and gaps around windows and other substrates. The product reportedly exerts a strong cohesive force on most materials (excluding gypsum, grease, and oily materials), offering high performance in heat preservation and sound insulation.
