Teckrez recently announced that two new business leaders have joined the company. Wayne Goldenberg, Ph.D., will direct Teckrez’s newly formed Specialty Monomers and Chemicals Group. He will drive growth in targeted acrylic monomer market segments, as well as provide his product development and sales channel experience in assisting Teckrez partners and customers to achieve their goals. To facilitate Teckrez’s expansion into acrylic monomers, the company has added two new packaging and warehousing facilities in Houston and Philadelphia to support its growing monomer customer base.

“Teckrez looks forward to its emerging role as a trusted supplier to the wide variety of companies that use specialty monomers,” said Marc Jackson, president. “Wayne’s knowledge of specialty monomer products and their associated handling and distribution means Teckrez provides customers with creative and flexible supply options. His chemical expertise will be valuable to customers wanting novel formulating approaches or solutions to technical application challenges.”

Goldenberg brings 15 years of experience in the commercial chemical industry, with a focus in specialty acrylate and methacrylate monomers. He also spent six years in the petroleum industry, with expertise in product development, technical support, marketing, and sales management for laboratory instrumentation. Goldenberg earned his doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kim Meidl has been named the new director of Resins. She will be responsible for driving growth in targeted markets to include end of line packaging, pressure-sensitive tapes and labels, construction, product assembly, and other specialties.

“Teckrez looks forward to bolstering its reputation as a preferred supplier of the raw materials that impart unique characteristics to formulated products,” said Jackson. “We are fortunate to have someone of Kim’s experience and stature join our team. Her addition complements our group of knowledgeable industry veterans.”

Meidl brings 24 years of experience in the commercial chemical industry, with recent and relevant focus in the pine chemicals Industry as a global business manager for the Adhesives and Pavement Marking businesses at Ingevity Corp. She also brings expertise in lubricants, rubber chemicals, and paper chemical markets. Meidl holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, with an emphasis in business, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
