The Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association (HPVA), began a 90-day canvass ballot of proposed revisions to the ANSI/HPVA LF 1996 American National Standard for Laminated Wood Flooring on Sept. 30, 2001.
The company's subsidiary, Lawter International, will close its facility at Moundville, Ala., and move production to more strategic manufacturing sites.
