Paint, coatings, adhesives and sealants teams are under growing pressure to reduce volatile organic compounds and remove PFAS while maintaining technical performance. These reformulation challenges involve complex trade-offs across durability, adhesion, drying behaviour, stability, cost and manufacturability.

AI-guided formulation tools provide a practical way to navigate these high-dimensional problems. By combining historical formulation data, raw-material properties, processing parameters and expert knowledge, product experts can identify promising alternatives, focus laboratory work on the most informative candidates and learn from each new experiment.

In this webinar, we will use case studies from industry to illustrate how AI can be used to identify PFAS-free formulations and select surfactant blends for water-based products.

Attendees will learn how to:
  • Respond to regulatory changes and customer demands faster.
  • Assess alternative raw materials with fewer physical tests, increasing product-development productivity.
  • Capture and reuse formulation knowledge, enabling more product experts to contribute to complex projects.
