Holcim Building Envelope has announced the promotion of Kristin Beck to president of its Americas Commercial Roofing Systems and Lining business unit, which encompasses the Elevante and GenFlex brands of roofing systems. Beck will provide leadership for the unit, including responsibility for marketing, sales, operations, and technology. Beck will retain her role as global chief supply chain officer responsible for supply chain management, customer service, and planning.

Beck assumes the role directly from Jamie Gentoso, who held the position since the formation of Holcim Building Envelope in June 2022.

“As Holcim strives to become the most innovative and sustainable building solutions provider, Kristin will play a critical role ensuring our market leadership and best-in-class customer experience,” said Jamie Gentoso, president, Holcim Building Envelope and global head, Holcim Solutions & Products. “Kristin will also drive innovation and growth in all aspects of our business, as well as a continuous improvement in the reduction of our carbon footprint.”

During her career at Holcim, Beck also served as U.S. Cement’s senior vice president of Supply Chain and Distribution.

Prior to Holcim, Beck held roles of increasing responsibility in global supply chain management, sustainable strategy and business development, manufacturing, procurement, distribution, logistics, engineering, project management, government affairs and advocacy, health and safety, and security.

Beck sits on the Waterways Council Board, National Waterways Foundation Board, Truckers Against Trafficking Advisory Committee, and she is an active member in multiple industry associations.
