NOTES: In May 2023 Arkema announced it is setting new, more ambitious targets by 2030 across its whole value chain, approved by the organization Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The Group now aims to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 48.5% for Scopes 1+2 and by 54% for Scope 3 by 2030 versus 2019.

In February 2023, Arkema launched the most complete and integrated offering on the market for Pressure Sensitive Adhesives. Aligned with the Group’s unique strategy to leverage its three synergistic Specialty Materials segments, this broad product range combines Arkema’s technological expertise in the adhesives market, strengthened by the recent acquisition of Ashland Performance Adhesives, and leading acrylic value chain solutions.

In July 2022, four months after completing the acquisition of Ashland's Performance Adhesive activities, Bostik finalized the integration of these activities inside its organization. This milestone was a major step in Bostik's ability to deliver expected synergies, and growth. In July 2022, Arkema finalized the acquisition of Permoseal, a leader in adhesive solutions for DIY, packaging and construction, and strengthened its position in adhesives in South Africa. In May 2023, Arkema acquires Polytec PT, a German company specialized in adhesives for batteries and electronics applications.

“Through strategic acquisitions and organic growth, we are building the strongest and most reliable offering, expertise and customer support to the fast-growing pressure sensitive adhesives market worldwide. Committed to this industry, we will partner across the value chain to advance innovation, address global megatrends and explore ways to offer customers new, more sustainable solutions," Tim Pione, vice president, Advanced Packaging and Converting, Adhesives at Arkema.
