Creative Materials Inc. recently launched a series of multi-purpose conductive epoxies that combine flexibility with fine-line precision and extreme durability.
Creative Materials’ 126-40(SD) is a single component syringe dispensable ink and adhesive, and 126-40(SP) is a single component screen-printable ink and adhesive. Both products are solvent-resistant, electrically conductive, and have been optimized for use on circuits with fine line widths and spacing.
These epoxies offer excellent adhesion to ITO coated surfaces, polyimide, polyester, glass, polycarbonate, and other substrates and exhibit virtually no bleed and minimal spreading, tailing, or stringing. Additional features of 126-40(SD) and 126-40(SP) include:
- Resistant to methyl ethyl ketone and other aggressive solvents
- Resilient to flexing, scratching, and creasing
- Low-temperature cure (as low as 100 °C)
- Survives solder reflow temps exceeding 260 °C
- Long syringe stability and screen life
Applications for 126-40(SD) and 126-40(SP) include touch-screen bus bars, LCD displays, flexible solar cell grid lines, Emi/RFI shielding of polyimide flexible circuits, polymer thick film circuitry, membrane switches, die attach, stacked die, lead and electric components attach.
