Enercon recently announced the opening of its new Surface Treating Laboratory, a facility designed to demonstrate and develop the latest advancements in atmospheric plasma and flame surface treatment.
“As the surface treating technology leader, Enercon offers the industry’s greatest variety of Blown-arc™, Blown-ion™ and Multiport™ plasma and flame surface treaters. With this new lab, we can help our customers identify which technology is best for their application,” explained Enercon Business Development Director Wilson Lee.
Located at the company’s new corporate headquarters in Germantown, Wisconsin, the new lab provides customers with a controlled environment to explore how Enercon’s technologies enhance surface energy for improved adhesion of inks, adhesives, and coatings — proving out the best technology for each application. Featuring real-time testing and diagnostic tools to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment, the lab is a hub for innovation and collaboration. Customers are invited to attend lab trials in person or participate virtually.
