Nordson Updates Progress on Key Social and Environmental Initiatives

Nordson Corp. has published its 2025 Corporate Responsibility Update. The report includes select highlights and updates about the company’s progress toward its corporate responsibility initiatives, reflecting its commitments to sustainability, innovation, employee wellbeing and community engagement.
“Corporate responsibility is a cornerstone of Nordson’s history, and it remains integral to our NBS Next growth framework as we grow in the key markets we serve,” said Sundaram Nagarajan, president and chief executive officer.
Highlights from the 2025 Corporate Responsibility Update include:
- Development programs for employees at all levels, from early-in-career to existing and emerging leaders, including two tracks for college graduates and a new eLearning option for NBS Next that enhances its accessibility
- An enhanced parental leave and bonding policy for U.S. employees and resources to support mental health training
- Improved safety incident rates with the continued implementation of the Journey to Zero initiative and a focus on training to identify and correct hazards
- Consistent execution of the company’s climate strategy, including energy efficiency upgrades at the company’s sites
- Award-winning, innovative solutions that contribute to a diverse array of end markets and applications and focus on customers’ need for resource efficiency, reduced waste and high precision
- More than $11 million in charitable contributions worldwide, including employee-led initiatives and ongoing support for organizations within Nordson’s communities
- Commitments to ethical governance practices with a strengthened Suppliers’ Code of Conduct and a Board of Directors that collectively represents the diverse nature of the business environment in which the company operates
