WACKER recently announced that the conflict in the Middle East has led to significant disruption in global supply chains, resulting in significantly increased costs for energy, raw materials and logistics. Therefore, the company announced a price increase for its silicones product range, which will become effective April 1, 2026.

In a press release announcing the price increase, the company said, “The current developments in the Middle East have led to significant distortions in the energy and raw materials markets worldwide. Due to this and to considerable disruptions to international trade routes prices for oil, natural gas, raw materials and logistics have risen palpably. WACKER’s global silicones business is affected by this development.”

WACKER also stated that it is working across the company’s global production and logistics network to minimize the impact of these developments on customers.
