Jowat SE has officially received the KOMO certificate for several products. This quality mark confirms that the certified adhesives comply with the technical specifications and internal quality assurance requirements under the Dutch assessment system.

The adhesive Jowapur^® 686.20 has already been certified for bonding load-bearing timber parts in line with directive BRL 2338 “Adhesives for load-bearing wood constructions” (Certificate number 33213) for several years. Now, the range of KOMO-certified products has been expanded with Jowapur 685.59/61 and Jowacoll^® 102.27, approved for nonstructural applications in accordance with BRL 2339 “Adhesives for non–load bearing applications (Certificate number 33458).”

The portfolio is further strengthened by the PUR hot melt adhesives Jowatherm^® PUR 609.00, 609.30, 609.50 and 609.60, which are listed under SKH quality declaration (SKH-064), which confirms that the production process, quality system, and formulations have been tested according to BRL 2339 and pass these requirements. This means the adhesives can be labeled with the SKH quality logo and be used following preliminary appropriate testing by the manufacturer of the bonded parts. Jowatherm PUR 609.00, for example, has become a trusted and reliable high-performance adhesive solution for demanding lamination processes in the production of doors. The high initial strength of the product facilitates the reliable bonding of materials with high restoring forces — from the usual laminates and veneers to metal.
