Munson Machinery Co. has introduced the HD-6-1/2-15 SS Ribbon Blender, designed to blend up to 500 cu ft (14.16 m³) of bulk solids with low or high liquid content. The unit's split double-helical agitator uses inner and outer ribbons that move material in opposite directions, producing a uniform blend in as little as 5 to 10 minutes.

The blender features one-piece welded construction with heavy-gauge walls and reinforced end panels. The ribbon agitator passes within 1/16 to 1/8 in. (1.6 to 3.2 mm) of the vessel wall to reduce residual material and simplify cleaning. A hinged lid with a removable, safety-interlocked grate provides access for cleaning and inspection.
