Pilot Chemical Company Names VP of Growth and Innovation
Pilot Chemical Co. recently named Jesse Jefferis vice president of growth and innovation. Jefferis has 25 years of specialty chemical experience spanning growth strategy, business development, innovation, commercialization, and technical leadership.
In his new role, Jefferis will lead Pilot’s enterprise growth agenda, overseeing innovation and commercialization, market development, technical service, strategic partnerships, and inorganic growth. He reports to Christian MacIver Pilot Chemical’s chief executive officer.

Jefferis most recently served as global director of sustainable growth and innovation at Stepan. Earlier in his career, he held commercial, business development and technical leadership roles at BASF, HFI and Colgate-Palmolive. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.
