Soudal Expands Asia-Pacific Presence with CohesiveTec Acquisition
CohesiveTec Pty Ltd, an Australian manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, and aerosol products for the manufacturing, assembly, and construction sectors, has been acquired by Soudal Group, the Belgian family-owned producer of sealants, adhesives, and polyurethane foams. The acquisition reinforces Soudal’s strategic ambitions in high-performance adhesives and strengthens its position across Asia-Pacific. Grace Matthews served as financial advisor to CohesiveTec and its shareholders. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in New South Wales, CohesiveTec operates two production facilities and will continue to grow its brands and customer-focused service, supported by Soudal’s global resources. The company serves key markets including woodworking, construction, upholstery, flooring, HVAC and transportation, where its established Tensor, Sabre and HeroGrip brands are recognized. With more than 25 years of experience, the company has built a differentiated position in canister and aerosol adhesive technology, complemented by a broad portfolio of reliable, innovative adhesives, sealants, and aerosol products.
