Oxea Raises Prices for Carboxylic Acids and Specialty Esters
Oxea is increasing prices for several carboxylic acids and specialty esters effective November 1, 2026, or as contracts allow. According to the company, significant and sustained increases in raw material, energy, and supply chain costs, along with ongoing supply and demand volatility, are the reasons for the adjustments.
In Europe, prices will increase by €70 per metric ton for n-butyric acid and isobutyric acid, €100 per metric ton for 2-ethylhexanoic acid, OXSOFT 3G8, and OXFILM 351, and €115 per metric ton for isononanoic acid.
For the rest of the world, Oxea will increase prices by $80 per metric ton for n-butyric acid and isobutyric acid, $115 per metric ton for 2-ethylhexanoic acid, OXSOFT 3G8, and OXFILM 351, and $130 per metric ton for isononanoic acid.
