LISLE, Ill. – The debut of Mexico’s first National Exposition for Assembly Technology, EnsamblaMex, has attracted industry support from government chambers, industry media and industry suppliers serving the huge product-assembly marketplace. Featuring both an exposition and technical conference, EnsamblaMex will convene October 17-19, 2000, at the Expo Guadalajara, and will be held in conjunction with Mexitronica, a national event serving the electronics manufacturing industry.

EnsamblaMex is designed to help facilitate the supply chain driving the multi-billion dollar assembly industry where discrete parts are assembled into finished product for export and for domestic consumption. This industry embodies a mix of indigenous manufacturers, multinationals with Mexican operations and maquiladores, which import parts duty-free, assemble them and then re-export finished product.
