BETHESDA, Md. -- Energy Sciences Inc., Wilmington, Mass., will chair the EB for End Users Workshop, which will be held May 1, 2002, as part of the End User Conference at RadTech 2002. The workshop, which is sponsored by Adhesives & Sealants Industry magazine, will feature speakers representing chemistry suppliers, equipment manufacturers, converters (EB equipment customers) and at least one end user (the converter's customer).

The speakers list currently includes: Wes Harrington, Mark Andy/COMCO (press manufacturer); Charles Loyed, Exopack (converter/EB customer); Steve Lapin, Northwest Coatings (chemistry supplier); Rick Woods, Hood Flexible Packaging (converter/EB customer); Mark Van Denend, Fisher & Krecke (press manufacturer); Mike McGovern, Sun Chemical (chemistry supplier); Milt Ludwigson, M&M Mars (end user); Jon Weiner, Sovereign Specialty Chemicals (chemical supplier); and Ed Maguire, Energy Sciences Inc. (EB equipment manufacturer).

The speakers will cover topics ranging from the newest developments in EB chemistry, ease of EB integration onto existing and new press lines, process benefits of EB technology, and the end user's perspective of EB technology.
