BETHESDA, Md. – The Adhesive and Sealant Council’s (ASC) Fall Convention and EXPO will be held October 8-11, 2000, at the Minneapolis Hilton and Towers. This year’s theme, Technologies Advancing the Industry, looks at technological advancements in adhesives and sealants, including pressure sensitive adhesives, hot melts and radiation/UV curing, as well as applications and business sessions.

The ASC brings together individuals from manufacturers, suppliers, end users and academia. ASC member companies represent 76% of the total adhesives and sealants sold in North America. Seventy percent of member companies attend the Convention, and 40% of the attendees hold technical positions.

The Convention and EXPO, a unique industry marketplace, is where companies can showcase products, equipment and technologies. Participation is open to all suppliers and distributors of raw materials, production, manufacturing and testing equipment, services, and software.

The keynote speaker for the Convention will be Albert P. L. Stroucken, president and CEO of H.B. Fuller Co., St. Paul, Minn., a worldwide manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, coatings, paints and other specialty chemicals.
