Degussa Names General Manager of Industrial Colorants for the Americas
Degussa announced that Stephen Holtzman has been appointed general manager, Industrial Colorants, Americas, following the retirement of Robert Mitchell from that position. Holtzman assumed the new position Sept. 1, and reports to Douglas Harless, senior vice president and general manager, Colorants.
Holtzman is responsible for the continued growth of industrial colorants business into industrial maintenance, specialty-purpose, and coil coatings throughout North and South America. At the same time, he'll focus on providing innovative solutions for new markets and environmentally challenged applications.
In his five years with Degussa, Holtzman has been primarily responsible for the marketing activities of Color System and Inplant colorants in NAFTA. He began his career as a sales representative for DH Litter Co., a chemical distributor in the eastern US.
